I have the lights on a timer for 8 hrs a day, I just seem to keep getting these blooms which start on the wood and spreads through the tank. I'm going to have a deep clean tonight, any suggestions?

Brown algae. What a pain guys. Anyone have any effective ideas what will eliminate these lil pests. No matter how much I clean and scrub the little shizznits keep coming back. Cheers. G

Yeah 1or2mm approx a few which are left are translucent so maybe these are fertile? I really have no idea about this stuff.

Well I should have taken them out sooner because they have been eaten now. I'm only getting used to looking after the grown ups and don't think I have the knowledge of having eggs and fry in my tank. Wouldn't have a clue what to do.

Cheers James7 My first thought was gourami eggs but @essjay told me they make bubbles not balls.
