Hi,   Would anyone recommend a good quality uv steriliser and advise on which wattage to have for a 150 litre reef set up?   Thanks.

    Swim Bladder Problems

Exactly my concern. I have checked all parameters and everything is good so nothing untoward. But I closed down my smaller tank two weeks ago to make way for a marine/reef tank arriving next week - always said I wouldn't go down that road but I've given in and I'm really excited about the...

    Swim Bladder Problems

Thanks kashifmasud. Sadly I've had to euthanise both fish after giving the treatment and salt a go. I couldn't bear to watch ten suffer any longer. The clove oil method is so humane.

    Lethargic Guppy And Platy

Yes, you'll get a 0 or near 0 ammonia reading when your water is being cleaned effectively through your management of filtration. If you've got fish who produce lots of waste your filter won't be able to cope with the ammonia levels. Without trying to sound big headed my tanks all show 0 ammonia...

    Hair Algae Help!

I hope you have the same level of success that I've had. My surprise has been that I haven't read in any discussions about algae problems, the part that phosphate plays in its development. Let me know!

    Hair Algae Help!

Hello in Minesota. It's made by Fluval and it's called 'Fluval LAB SERIES Phosphate Remover'. The tub has many languages on it suggesting that it's available across Europe so i would have thought you could get it in the states. Fluval is a very well known aquarist company over here - is it in...
