    They will be fine. Some say the maximum is 2 days some say 2 weeks. I believe it is closer to 2 weeks but in either case you will be fine

    Pest snail Problem

    Hey all So the whole issue first started about 5 months ago and I have currently removed well over 2 dozens of snails. I added some new plants in the tank and they obviously still had some snail eggs on them. One hatched and I let it grow. Turns out it was a ramshorn. A bit later( maybe 2 weeks)...

    If it turns out you do have ammonia in the tap water you can prepare the water for the water change 1 day before and add some pothos to it. Pothos is very good at absorving nitrogenous waste and especially ammonia so you should have 0 ammonia after that There are also other plants that can work...

    Definitely. Some of the bacteria would be dislodged and fall. Just do it directly in your moms media and not in the water to help them a bit. If you have a way (cercamic media etc.) adding some of the media from the maintank to the small will definitely help
