One regret I have is not using a temperature controller for my heaters on tropical tanks. Eventually heaters fail and destroy everything you have worked for, unless you have a temperature controller. I consider it an essential piece of kit now. Won't have a heated tank now without it.

Nerites can't be fed. You need to add algae-fied stones or move the tank so it gets some direct sunlight.

thanks I am aware of the problem. shopping around for a 200l tank to house them in atm- but from the sounds of things this might not even be enough given your problems with only 6 beckfordi with 1:2 male/female ratio in 130l! I will add a large 'scare them' fish (that can't really do them harm)...
