Very pretty fish!  I'm not sure I have a big enough tank for them and my pH typically runs between 6.0 and 6.5, so that may be too acidic for them?   I'll definitely keep them in mind though!

I like red rasboras, but I'm trying to stick with fish from the Amazon region. I'm leaning toward the Lemon tetras--they are very small and colorful and swim at the top 1/2 of the tank. Perfect!

I think it may have something to do with where you buy them. If you get them from overseas hatcheries, they may not be as hearty. I think I'll just avoid them going forward and try something else. I do like the green neons, but I can never find them. I do still have six of them, so hopefully...
