Hey everyone! Today I got 4 red swordtails all females. I was wondering if I could get some general advice on them. They are alone in a 20 gallon tank. Its about 77 degrees and they have adjusted nicely. Thanks for any advice you can give!

There is a thermometer on the side, its below 60 because that's the lowest it will go.

Its set to about 70 because I plan on getting some tiger barbs. I think its working so I was thinking about letting it sit overnight. Also gratz on your eggs!

Yea it is plugged in and its set to heat. Should I let it go overnight? I'm not sure how long it takes. The red light is on to show its heating.

Hey guys, I have a simple question. I turned on my heater for my new tank about 5 hours ago. It the water seems to not be heating up, and when I put a hand near the heater I feel no heat. Is it the filter running? Its a 20 gallon tank. Please give advice! Thanks!

Everything sounds good, but could you post a picture? It would help people figure out what it is a lot easier.

The tank is in the cycling process right now so I am not getting the fish right away. The pet store I go to doesn't dye any of  the fish, they are all their natural color. No blues or yellows there

Hey guys! I have been thinking about this for a while so I was wondering, how could I tell the gender of my 2 plecos, and how could I get them to spawn? I've always wanted my fish to breed so I thought this would be a great idea, and some of my friends have been asking if I could get a breeding...

I prefer the ones made by aqueon. They last a long time and almost every pet store sells them and the re-fill cartrages. :)

Once she has dropped post pics! But add more plants and don't really worry about the fry some will get eaten and that might sometimes be a good thing cause platys can breed quite a lot....
