how long will it take for the pond to have a good variety of bugs?

i would like a small pond in my back garden maybe 3ft by 1ft or around that size, i don't want to keep fish in it, all i want in there is insects and nymphs. 1) how would i get the bugs and nymphs in there to start off with 2) where can i find a pond this size thanks

i cant get a good pic sorry, on all my other corys there feelers are abot 3/4 of a cm but on this one they are only about 2mm, all the corys are the same size btw.
