Anyone else love the look of their tanks early in the morning? That depends on which tank... And the lights go on later during the day.

One of my last dart frogs. It's a female. She's a Dendrobates tinctorius alanis combined with two other frogs (one is a Dendrobates tinctorius “azureus, this is a blue colored one") . They all have their own spots in the paludarium. But this one is one of my more colored ones. They go along well...

It's not a type of botia. Botias belong to the loach family (scientific name "Botiidae") while garra species belong to the Cyprinidae family. My botias are just meant for cleaning up and to keep the rate of pest snails and ramshorns snails down at my place. Very functional fish. The garras that...

next small live bearer, to share the cherry shrimp tank...

Actually, most limia species have the potential to grow up large. If they reach adulthood fast, most of these limia species have a small or moderate size. But if they grow up at a normal pace, they can grow up larger. Yes, this species remains small. I've got hem as well. And I do have them...

    No oxygen, no problem

Not in my case. For the plants that I had were in another part of the backyard as being a filter. The surface of my ponds were always totally frozen during winter.
