    Thanks for you reply, i'm based in Somerset.   Unfortunately my LFS, advised my to put in some API Stress Zyme, let the filter run for a week, then start adding fish   It would be great if somebody could donate some established media.

    I don't have any plants in at the moment, i set the tank up just over a week ago. Introduced ammonia to give 4ppm, switched on the filter, air-stone, and set the temp at 78.
