so i have a 250lt tank, has 1200lt per hour external filter...heres my thinking..turn the canister into a 550lt extra tank with filtration.. so main display tank is still 250lts, but there will be 800lts of water to flow through...   is this a waste of time or the more water the better?

cool idea...so are you going to drill holes in your tank or do they already have them?
