hello i have just set up a fluval edge tank and just have gravel and plants (no fish yet) but i noticed that on the black gravel there are white mould looking things on the bottom and on one plant, what are these and how do i get rid before i put my fish in? thanks :)

thanks for the replies :) the guy in the shop didnt say it was already pre soaked but if it doesnt turn should i just buy more bogwood or should i just put that blackwater stuff from tetra or is there another way of turning the water dark.

hi i recently brought some nice bogwood to add to my tank and iv been boiling it over nigt and when i checked the colour of the water this morning the water was still clear, how long does it take for the colour to come out as i want the brown water in my tank?
