I think I just found an egg spot on the betta. Do the females also build bubble nests? There are a lot around the rim.

When my friend got the betta from Petco, they said that it was a male. But I can't really tell, either.

So, I just got a new betta and a guppy from my friend, setting up a tank for them, and I saw that they both were a bit chubby. I am extremely new to fish keeping, so I was wondering if they are constipated? And what their ages are, if you can guess.

Galaxy is doing so much better! He's swimming around and eating a lot. His scales have almost grown back already, and his find aren't causing any problems. I feel like his wound will be healed by next week!
