Well was wondering what size of heater I would need for this tank is 18x8x6 I think it works out bout 28 litres... Would I get away with a 25watt heater the tank is just for fry... Thanks

Well I feel that by feeding the fish I still have the interaction with then.. An I will still have to do a gravel clean every so often... Do ur local water run it through the filter you have the way I was thinking bout doing it??

Oh right u just use it when ur doing a water change I was planning on letting the water run constantly....

I live in n.ireland in a little village don't know know if I would be able to look up the water supply report there prob isn't one... I just think doing this method I would never have todo water changes might have to vacuum the gravel every so often...

Sorry what I was meaning that the hose will only be at the biggest 10 mil an will be constantly running into tank but will only be dripping 2 are 3 little drips per second so these little drips after 7 days will only replace 30 % of the water... The heater will also be able to maintain a stable...

Hey just seen this post I would prob go wit demasoni r labs from ur list... But if it was my tank an I had to do a species only tank I would prob go to tanganika species an go for some sort of tropheus type I find them to be lot more social an look great in a colony...
