Hi, I also have fry in my tank and I move the gravels a lot making the water cloudy, what I do is I syphon the water into a Bucket, my wife holds a net at the other end of the pipe which is partially submerged in the water, if any fry do get sucked in it is very easy to get them out.

I am no expert to these things but I would suggest that you add a little salt to your tank if that is possible, as I had one of my Molies do the same thing, I added salt and it worked, the shimmers went away in 2 days. The other alternative is to treat the fish for internal parasites, this too...

Hi, I got a new tank ( 10 gal) for the sake of my Fry, I cycled it for 3 days and yesterday I left my fry in their new home. I have just got a simple filter, some floating plants and No Gravels. I hope my Fry will love their place.

I too have had a very similar problem with a few Guppies, they seem to be ok for a day or two when I bring them from the LFS, but then they start to loose the ability to swim sorts of. If I tease it a bit it will move to another location and again just sit still, at times even leaning to one...

Initially I kept them in a Plastic Breader, but I felt as though they were escaping, so I trasnfered them to a Net Breader. I feel they will be much safer in there.

Hi, This is my first Post, I just the site it has been really very helpful for a newbie like me. I just had 55 GUPPY fry yesterday afternoon. It was really very exciting seeing her drop the fry. I will post pictures soon.
