yeah looks something like that just looks tatty all other fish are ok its in with platys neons and ottos ill isolate this and see if i can save it

right have a platy and all i can describe it as is it looks like it is falling apart nearly as if its decaying ammonia nitrate and nitrite are 0 its still swimming and eating . Any ideas whats causing this

ive got a platy and it started to get a bit of finrot . ive been treating it in the main tank with fin rot med only have one tank gotten slightly worse. the question is have a male swordtail and he has started to chase it and like bite at the side of the platy a few of the other plats seem now...

just look at my sig there only small and grow to about 1.5 inches

yeah m8 its been in there a brave while and there is a few tears and cuts on it from cleaning it its a fluvel 3 filter one of the older 1s

when changing the sponge in your filter is it better to leave the new sponge in the water for a while to gather bacteria or put it in the filter and leave the old sponge in the water for a while till the new one gathers sufficent bacteria hope this makes sense :lol:

yeah thought they looked a bit piranah like seemed to have calmed down a little today, really funny when feeding cause they shoot at the food then straight back to the bottom of the tank at speed then back up and down a speed to get little bits , there in a 20 gallon with plenty of hidding...

not that long just over a week but never done much the first 2 or 3 days but then just started chaseing everything else will it settle sown eventually

right bought some bleeding heart tetras but the biggest one out of them harasses everything else in the tank and chases and nips at them is this usual or have i got a bully. got some platys neons glowlights and rummy nose in the tank and it tortures them all

can you use like 2 meds together im treating white spot at the minute and have noticed a couple of fish look like they have a touch of finrot could i add fin rot med as well or only one at a time im using waterlife protozin for whitespot i also have king british fin rot and fungus control can...

the guppys are both male same as the mollies and there is 1 male platy and 3 females

so there not nipping them there just looking for a quick kiss :lol:

right bought 2 blacktail guppys for my community tank the tanks has a couple of mollies some neons some bleeding heart tetras and some platys and a swordtail the 2 guppys keep chasing all the other fish around and nipping at there gills is this normal behaviour or are ther just 2 bad uns
