    "Back to nature 3D background" is the one,google them,u can even use the back of the background as a filter!! And on black gravel it would look awesome!

    Because of the fine bushy leaves of cabomba I have read that it needs exceptionally good clear water free of any debris.strong light and calm water.

    Grasses Or Low Growing Plants For Substrate

    Xmas moss is a fantastic idea and it grows really fast once its established,let it grow until its bout 5 or 6 inch strands abd then use scissors to trim offnthat way u end up with a nice tIght knit lawn,looks really good.good luck with it,your tank looks fab by the way,keep up the good work!

    yes they do pertially have bark on them.would that make a difference? i have actually found some really nice peices that will not need tieing down,i moght be able to just wedge them into the tank,but thanks for reply,appreciated!!

    Thanks guys,i might just do that,and the slate would look pretty discreet once covered,i dont think these peices are going to ever sink so weighing down it is then,thanks again for your replies.Kind regards-Rebaka

    Substrate

    I set a planted tank up with a mix of john innes no.1 potting compost and coral sand topped with a thin layer of fine sand,the results where great and all for under £10.
