Hi All, I have a nice fast flowing stream at the bottom of my garden (comes from a spring a couple of miles up the road) The stream bed is stones/gravel and I have seen a couple of brown trout swimming in it. Can I use this water to fill my new tank? Thanks Anna

its a site where people give away their stuff for free. Join the groups most local to you, if you want fish stuff in particular, just type "fish" into the search. There is quite a bit of free fish stuff going free in my area.

Try giving them away on your local freecycle group (www.freecycle.org) thats what I did and they are going to a nice home. I must admit I am not going to get any more guppies, although beautiful, mine breed like rabbits!

well i got 5 of my females guppies which are pregnant and i want a new tank to let dem breeed but could a big plastic box work instead of wasting a lot of money on a tank why not spend 2-3 pondes on a giant box? and i'll but a little filter and heater aswell.. and will frozen brine or blood...

Guppyman they havent got any colour at all yet as they are newborn. If I can find a shop that I would be happy to leave my fish with, then I will do that. What about the interbreeding aspect- is it a problem? Thanks Anna

Hi All erm...what am I to do with all the babies my fish have had? I cant keep them all as I only have one tank. and what about interbreeding? If I keep some surely they will mate with their brothers/sisters/aunts and uncles...will I end up with some fish with 3 heads? (and playing the banjo)...
