He is starting to scratch himself on the plants and things now, i notice. the maracide i bought said to put it in days 1, 3, and 5, so i'm guessing this means two capfuls every other day? he is still eating and doesn't have clamped fins, is this a good sign?

I was just looking at my other fish in the 10 gal tank and it looks like he has a little patch of shiny yellow right in front of his gill, any idea as to what this is?

Well, last night my boyfriend and I decided to go to the pet store in town to see if they had any methelane blue (sp?) and the first place had nothing, but then we found another pet store!!!!! so we decided to give it a try, i have to say, their tanks were spotless, not one sick looking fish...
