Just starting month 10 of having this little tank I started with 4 Amano and now have 5/6 not that I remember buying the other two but I must have done.
I’ve lost two silver tip one to a nasty disease and another to a filter accident
I do my filter clean once a month and change 30% of my water every week.
I have once before syphoned off the gravel bed but it’s been hard to do with all the decor!
Today after a check of the water (ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 20ppm) I decided to take out the decor and fish that I could to give the gravel a good clean up.
My fish are all in a small holding tank for now just while the water warms up as I ended up taking out about 80% of the water (it was filthy) glad to have done it though and now know my fish will continue to thrive and be happy hope they like the new layout..
