Hello, I have some very young platys, 3/4 of an inch long and recently they are always fat! I've had floating and planted anubias in my tank for half a year 3-6 months now. I've noticed that some of the leaves are nipped quit a lot. They are always fat and pooping! even when i dont feed them that day. But its weird because they weren't fat like last week when i checked on them. They were fine but the plants were still nipped a little. they have been growing and I have since cleaned the tank well and filter out, so their water is fine. I have put in Aquarium salt for gill function and disease recovery, Just in case something is wrong. Is it normal for Red wag platy's to eat Anubia plants? And do you think this is causing them to be fat?

It is normal for fry to eat floating plants, mine do.
It's good for them to hide in and for food :good:
