My swordtails seem to have gotten an internal parasite. I have no quarintine tank. My adult females sometimes show signs of white stringy poo but it goes away after a day or two. This has happened on and off for about six months but they have not showed and other signs of illness and the poo goes back to normal and stays that way for weeks at a time. Now some of the juveniles are showing more pronounced white stringy poo and swollen bellies. I feed a varied diet of mosquito larve(frozen), brine shrimp(frozen), A mush made of shrimp, green peas and vitamins, tetra discus, and flakes. I understand that salt can help but I hve pakistan botia(yoyo loaches) so I do not think I can add salt. My water quality is good, pH 6.5 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 25. Suggestions anyone?

no you can't use salt with them.

go out a buy a good internal bacteria treatment and then use it half does, unless it states safe with scaleless fish.

No salt then, yes get an anti internal parasite med and medicate the whole tank, good luck.
