What Type Of Algae Is This?

just wondering what type of algae this is and how to get rid of it? it's in the direct flow of my powerhead,i have no plants in the tank at the moment only xmas moss.lights on for 5 hours.

As I have no idea of scale in your pic its BBA or Staghorn, both caused by fluctuating or low CO2, you do water changes with lights on? Best way to rid it is to dry it out or directly dose liquid carbon to it. It will turn red then die. :)
 
cheers, why would i have fluctating levels of co2? it is more of a green colour the algae in the picture
 
Doing wc's with lights on causes fluctuations, tap water has loads of dissolved CO2 in it and that causes it.
