Can anyone help me identify this wonderful fish that I caught in Charlotte Harbor, sw. Florida near Punta Gorda thanks for your help. I think it is called the atlantic spade fish. I am curious if it is possible to keep this fish in a 125 gallon or bigger.

Yup your right about the species, they can grow to up to 90cm and live in large shoals so am not convinced they are suited to aquarium lifestyle.

It a Atlantic Spadefish (Chaetodipterus faber), grows to abour 36inch. Shouled be kept in small groups and needs about 500g tank, . Will eat sessile inverts.
