Silver Shark Died :(

Got home and found it on the bottom

Its always been alot smaller compaired to the other Bala but it was still doing fine so i didnt worry.

when i got it out the tank i noticed it has a large orange area on its underbelly.
Any ideas?

How many gallons is the tank and what fish were you keeping it with and how many? How long has the tank been set up? Fish can deteriorate suprisingly fast once dead, particually when small, so any symptoms that show up once the fish is dead may not indicate what actually killed it at all.

The exact same thing just happened to me. Just this morning I woke up and found my rather small silver shark dead on the bottom with a yellow belly. For the past week I noticed him head standing and brown coloured fins and then he stopped eating and lost alot of weight so I quarantined him.
Dunno what it was but my other shark is doing really well.
It's really quite sad isn't it. I know exactly how you feel.
