Sick Otto, Please Help!

One of my Ottos has recently developed a huge white spot on his back, and I don't know what it is! I couldn't find anything from online research either, so I'm scared it's undiagnosable?? I've attached a picture to this post. Could it be some kind of external parasite or an infection?

Is this maybe what it looks like? I think this was guessed to be bacterial infection. Is it growing?

It hasn't been growing, it appeared virtually overnight and seems more torn up, like an injury almost. It's grown slightly larger than when I first saw it but not as rapid or as large as the linked thread.

Doubt it. Someone said it was body rot? Is that possible?

I don't know anything about body rot, sorry Hopefully someone with more experience comes along soon. Worth a google though I imagine
