Sick Barcoo

My barcoo grunter, he looks sick. He is pale and breathing heavily. also he isnt eating. I am in a rush now so i will post water details later. Hope someone can help.

First thing stress and pale have to rule water quality out in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, do the gills look red and inflamed, is there any fungus, spots, swelling in the tummy area.

His gills look normal, no swellings or any marks. He just looks stressed. Wat can do?

Hes gonna die . Hes on his back looking very bad. I did a water test this morning, no ammonia, no nitrates, but it was very acid and soft. Is that the problem?? I want to know b4 i get nemore.
