does any body know where i can get some siamese algae eaters in west yorkshire to have a go at my black hair algae. many thanks.

I dont think they would even touch black hair algae (very few fish will).

Best way to get rid of it is manual removal. It's a pain but it's probably your best bet.

welcome to the forum by the way!

Thanks for the welcome.
Looking on the internet at how to get rid of black hair algae it says the siamese algae eater is the only fish that will eat it.
will still keep on with the manual removal untill i can find some.
thanks for the reply

they do eat it and do a good job with it. However, they do get quite big and can get aggressive in older age.
