Removing Salt in tank

Can I start anytime with taking salt out of my tank? Can I start to reduce and dilute it out of the tank from today if I no longer need to have the salt in there?

if you were using salt to treat something and you have finished treatment, then yes you can start doing small water changes to dilute it out

Hello. You can remove salt through your regular water change. Just don't replace it. A little salt is in most tap water and a trace will discourage the growth of most pathogens and helps fish deal with traces of nitrogen from dissolving fish and plant waste material.

The advice I got was doing a 10% water change every day for a week. Then after that doing 20% water changes every day for a week. This will acclimate your fish back to fresh water.
