Call me stupid, but how do you pronounce cichlids?! Can someone write it out phonetically for me please?! )

I now think it's pronounced sick-lids, although I used to say cheek-lids.

Was wondering too. Sick-Lids sounds so weird, lol. Even at a reputable LFS they call it chee-lids.. Go figure, lol..
