Problem with my fantail

I just looked real close in my tank last night and noticed something wrong with one of my fantails mouths. It looked like it was dislocated or broken. The other one was opening and closing his mouth like normal, but this guy had his open all the time and slightly shifted to one side. He sitll feeds and swims actively.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Alot of line breed fish that are breed by the thousands turn up with the odd deformity that has been missed by the breeders during the culling period or it could simply be damage, do you have a pic?

I'll try and take a pic of it tonight if I can catch it. It moves too fast for me to get a good picture of it.

I few of my rudd fry have strange looking mouths but they have all done fine soo far.
