hi ftx.....here's the pregnant guppy pics.....they're taken in the small acrylic 5 gall tank I use as my guppy breeding tank. Kept very dark with a load of plants but seems to work best for me, can't use the flash as it just reflects back due to the shape of the tank

...............pics are not good I'm sorry but do show you how she looked just before birthing.......in the gravid spot you can see the darker bit where the babies are......have got a pic of her just after she had dropped them and the gravid spot is pink

this guppy always gives birth at night when there's even less light for taking her photo

hi inchworm - think there's about 30 surviving in the tank .....a lot more would have been born but there are 4 adult guppies in the tank. Won't really know numbers till they are a little older and braver
