Pelvicachromis Taeniatus

I read up on these and finally decided to purchase a pair this afternoon. The colours are great (I got the Nigerian Red strain) and within an hour of putting them in the tank they were into the courtship behaviour.

I really do hope they breed, does anyone have any tips in this area?

Any help much appreciated.

they are very similar to kribs (p. pulcher) in needs and behaviour and, imo more colourful

In my experience....if you you give any cichlid a good environment (hiding spots and good water parameters, not to mention room) they will most definately breed!
Pretty much every species of cichlid that I own have bred at one point or another, with exeption to the fronts, who are no where near old enough to do so.
