Oh! And When I Do A Water Change

I have a special fish-only bucket for water.

If I put filtered water in there, then add the de-chlorinator, does the de-chlorinator need time to work, or can i just wait until the water has cooled off a bit then put it in? The package didn't really say.

i just add mine directly to the tank before i add the water and i have had no problems at all...
