Need advice on bristlenoses

I'm planning to add either one or two bristlenoses to my tank. What would you do given these choices:

(i) Get two big enough to sex, so I get a male and a female and they can breed -
(ii) Get two young ones - if they both end up male, the tank's big enough for both of them.
(iii) Stick to one for now, and maybe add another later.

Can't decide!!

What about option 4, buy 6 small ones and let them pair off naturally and then return the excess ones for a store credit? Thats the way i and most fish breeders obtain mating pairs.

If you really want them to breed then CFC has shown you the light!!

If not them just get two, but how can you not want them to breed??!!!
