Killie Newbie

That's so neat Oldman! I have been haunting this thread but my ears always perk up at cories and there plump little eggs. I had sick cories for so long, I really hope I will experience this soon when I restock.

Goodluck with your new fishes. I think it is interesting that you are trying out new varieties. I am in a personal battle right now because I loved my Platies. I am fighting over whether to find some kind of livebearers that will breed in my 46g and be very interesting, or to fill my very strong wishes of giving a betta a large community setting. Livebearer fry is so tempting {and cory fry!}

Opps, I started blabbing. Really wish you luck!

Edit: I was typing too fast and repeated myself.

Just a quick note that Killies are famous for being able to jump through even the smallest opening. Really you need to seal these - all of these - somehow. My cover is tight except for the filter's access which has some space. I sealed it by use of plastic cross-stitch mesh that can be purchased at craft stores. Other options are no doubt out there, too.
