yeah paradise fish healthy fiesty little thing just elongated, but not sure why whether its a deformity or hybrid?

Pretty sure its a deformity, Paradise Fish are one of the bulkiest Anabantoids and your one is no were near what is should look like. Also its a little young/small to sex. I would say its a male . TBH, I wouldn't get him another paradise fish, as all this will do is either turn him aggressive or he will get bullied.
