I accidentally damaged one of by zebra danio's peduncle. Will it be ok when introduced into the tank with the other fish? it seems to be swimming fine right now.

If it is swimming okay, then yes, I would have thought so. You don't say much about the injury though, so it is difficult to be sure. If the skin is broken or scales missing, watch for infection.

It's bent at the peduncle. It got stuck in a turkey baster. It seems to be ok, I just wanted to make sure it would be able to join the school later on.

hmmmm.....got stuck in a turkey baster? How'd you get him out?

Add some melafix to the tank he is in now, and it should be just fine!

The wound's no longer frsh.

It's not that it got stuck, it was sucked in and when it was swirled around it got bent at the back.
