How Much Sand?

I'm finally going to get sand for my tank to replace my gravel. I'm just going to get the good old argos play sand. It comes in 3kg bags. My tank is your run of the mill, 4ft 240ltr tank.

So my question is.... How many bags will be enough? I was thinking roughly 3-4? It needs to be enough to cover my (plastic) plants bit don't want 3inchs of it.

Argos play sand comes in 15kg bags not 3kg. Two bags of 15kg will cover a 240l easily.

Lol that's what I meant, 15kg. Got mixed up cause I was thinking I needed 3 of them

Cool, will get 3 bags on Sunday. Looking forward to washing that...... Not.
