How many guppies?

Hi

How many guppies could you put into a 2.5 gallon tank. Is the optimal temp 78 degrees or could you have them as coldwater fish?

i would put one or 2 in a 2.5 gal. prefrebly one. and if u put a heater in there it will fry the fish.just put them in a warm spot in ur house. but not in direct sun light becuz that cuzes algae. most are knowen to survive cold water conditions.
