How Many Gallons Or Liters

could some one tell me how to work out the amount of water my tank holds its a rena tank 100cm x 40 x 48
the shop told me 240L 52 G but i don't no how they workrd this out

For liters it's easy, multiple your dimensions in cm and divide by 1000. So 100cm x 40cm x 48 cm / 1000 = 192L

Then you can convert the liters to gallons, 192 liters = 50.7 US gallons

EDIT: I use google calculator for conversions. Enter "192 liters to gallons convert" in google and you get the above result.
