How long do these fish live?

Does anyone know how long these fish live for?

Betta
Pepper cory catfish
guppies
platties
tetra

i think bettas are up to 4 years
Guppies never really live that long mabe 2years
platies the same as guppies
dont no about the rest!

With tetras it depends on the species but I think most get to around 5 though I think many live for double that.

Platies, BTW, can live to 4 years sometimes and most bettas don't realy get to 4 years of age though they should.

As for the cories, I'm not realy shure but I think it's fair to say that they live a considerably long time - catfish tend to be long-lived when compared to other species.

wow I didn't expect them to live that long! Maybe a year tops, that makes me happy

I've had my cories for 5 years now and they don't show any sign of slowing down

I have a Wal-Mart bought betta that is approx 3.5 yrs old...

He has gone from half neglected to spoiled rotten and back numerous times...

Don't know much about them... but there's a reference point for ya!

And in my experience guppies live about 13 seconds (but I keep mine with Oscars)
