your algae is going nuts because you have a lot of nutrients in the water from overfeeding your fish. also you are giving the tank a lot of lights.
one thing i noticed is API antifungal meds can kill algae sometimes, yet still leave plants alive.

i dont know if those plants you have in your tank are real, but if you did have some real plants in the tank [and the right kinds] they will fight with the algae for nutrients
and keep it at bay.

algae is not bad, and it does not harm the fish. it just looks bad to you. there's nothing wrong with a little algae. i would recommend just taking a razor blade or a new 'bottle brush' and
clean the insides of the tank before changing the water.

Hi I am just wondering if anyone can help me, I have had my tank cycled now for approx. 3 weeks but have recently started to notice that parts of the gravel are covered in something browny coloured, I am just wondering if anybody can help me identify this and then I can try and treat it. Thanks
