So then i guess it depends on if I want to support them with my money or not.

Honey gouramis are small and would be a good choice too.

As for the dwarf gouramis, if you live in the US, you will have a hard time finding any females to make a pair. Two males may or may not get along, so I would recommend only keeping one, like you woud a betta. They do just fine alone.

You might also add a small school of corys for the bottom of the tank. Three or 4 would fit if you only get one dwarf gourami. They seem to get along well with gouramis too.

Oh yea, totally forgot about honey gouarmis. Good choice.

Well as much as I hate to support LFS I don't like, sometimes I have to if that is the only place that carries what I need/want so I just buy it anyway.
