gourami changing colour??

I have two dwarf gourami, one orange and one iridescent blue, over the last 2-3 weeks I have noticed the top fin of the orange seems to be turning blue, is this normal?? I have looked on many sites but found nothing similar?

That is normal. I belive that it may be because of age or just because of the way they are feeling.

Yup, they do change colour, might be because they are breeding.

I think they may be both male but am trying to post some pictures of them, when it allows me to !!!

They are both males if they show strong coloration. Females are silver. As for the orange male getting a blue stripe - he's just turning into a normal red dwarf gourami. Most of them have that blue line, you can see mine has it in the photo in my sig.

if it in a hex or is it roaming the tank with the other one

I'm assuming you're talking about my betta! Thank you so much, I think he's lovely too. If you're asking about his housing, all of my bettas are in seperate tanks.
