I thought this forum needed a post on glass cats!
I love all my fish, but the glass cats never fail to amaze me with their "hovering" motion (especially in groups) and their general beauty.
Anybody else have glass cats and any anecdotes?
And is it true that they can die of lonliness?

Yes it is true. :(

I have 2 galss cats and I love them! I love the way they use their feelers to touch each other at the same time and end up swimmind in a circle!

Mine are great! Can't seem to get pics of them though, they always looks fuzzy and off white.

I've got 3 glass cats.

Very nice fish and peaceful. Mine hide at the back though under the filter and come out rarely for a 'patrol' and at feeding time.

Just wish they came out on 'show' a bit more cos they are great to look at. Hard to tell each one apart though!!!

Was worried when i first got them cos thier wiskers/feelers seemed to snap in half and it seemed to hinder their food finding ability. However they've grown back now and seem to be doing fine.

Cool.

Mine never hide... they can aways be seen treading water and tasting each other! I am quite lucky in that my 2 look very different (to me) to each other, so Ihave been able to name them and know who is who.

I have two as well. I just love them. I have had then before and these seem to be not as shy as the ones I had in the past. I think it may be 'cause they are in a smaller tank with very small fish. They come out and check me out and demand food quite often.

Cheesespecialist, if I can remember, I will post a pic of them tonight on aquarium photos.......I have a neat picture of them, not so much of the fish themselves, but the "rainbow" they produced on the wall behind them....kinda makes me wonder if I should put up a background behind the tank now. :D

"It's Miss Cheese Specialist to you!"

HA! I couldn't help but remark on that one... I have reason to believe that I am usually thought of as a "bloke" as well!
