fish deaths

i have returned form a two day break to fidn the bodies of and oto and a neon in my tank one looks like he got stuck under the filter anotehr under a rock. i have removed them. but what otehr action should i take. all tests are normal

Perhaps the oto killed the neon then committed suicide after realising what he did.....Sorry....my poor attempt at humour late at night

I'd keep an eye on the fish and your water parameters...

Were the fish new at all??

the neons had been there about 6 weeks and the oto getting on for two, the otot was genuinly stck under teh filter tho i guess it may have slipped and trapped him under it as for the neon no idea. no signs of physical injure or illness
