I have a fancy goldfish named Joey but he has got a serious skin condition which he has had for a few months now, it looks like a form of excema like us humans do it's very pinky red and peels away but after a week or so it clears up but leaves a scabby mess behind.

I have tried salt baths but it didnt seem to help, also i've noticed that his skin has got a yellowy ting to it mainly to his head and spreads round to the back of the gills.

He's in an aquarium with 8 other fantails, mountain minnows and Zerba Diano's but the only one affected.

Anyone can give me any info of what it could be?

Sounds like a Bacterial infection to me. Check your water quality, goldfish of any variety produce a lot of waste and need excellent filtration at those stocking densities. How big is your tank? Do bear in mind that these fish will get larger and will require a big tank eventually... :)
