Endlers

I don't think my male endlers are pure bred. THey seem to have some interesting colors on there top fin. I haven't seen this on any of the pictures I have seen online. I have some females coming this week and don't want to put them together if my males have guppy in them. Should I wait and let them breed then see what the fry grow up like?

can you post a picture? you could just let them breed with one female, but that still might not prove 100%
where did you get the males?

I'll get a picture tonight though unless they flare you can't see it. I got them at PetSmart.

im not sure on the specific characteristics a endler may have, but that looks like one to me

Oh I know it's an Endler. I was just not sure if it had been mixed with guppies due to it's purple top fin. Ah well I have some more coming today and then we will see.

cool Thanks for the info. All my males have that type of fin. Hopefully that also means they are mature enough for breeding.
