About a month ago I bought two dwarf mickey mouse platties from a Petsmart. They were about the length of a neon with chubby bodies..The clerk said that that was about as big as they would get..The two fish mysteriously dissapeared and now I can't find anymore. I was wondering if anyonelse had every seen these fish or new where I could get some..

I have never seen them in the mickey mouse variety (or called dwarf platies), but the fish you are describing sounds like what my LFS sells as "coral platies". The only color varieties I have seen there are the red type (my favorite) and blues. The blues have come along only just recently. My experience with them is that they are prolific breeders, even for livebearer standards. They don't get anywhere near as big as a standard platy. Just a darn cute little fish. I would love to have a tank with lots of plants, coral platies, and a big school of neons!

(edit) Usually sell for around 99 cents in my neck of the woods!
