If you do a search on the reviews, you'll find out it's mostly expensive garbage.
I've read the same thing about it, though I've never used it myself.

Pressurized CO2 systems would work much better and would be cheaper in the long run. Replacement CO2 costs $10.00 every 6-12 months with the pressurized canisters. I believe you have to pay $20-40 dollars for replacement carbo plus parts every 2-4 months!

thats the one my dads got.. he hates it.. Check you KH every day for the first week as is make the water very unstable, it take 3-4 days to start dropping like mad other than that all it does is drops the PH every morning to 5.9 but if the remove it the PH climbs to 7.6 in 2-3 hours.. but if the set the rate to get a PH of 6.6 in the morning the PH at night is 7.6.. He gave his old pressure system to me but it never gave him any problems.. He still got a pressure system he is about to change back to so if you are in SA let me know you can have his.. he even have two extra carbon plats..
